A group of engineers from Harvard University have developed a swarm of robotic bees to terrify mankind.
Well, that’s not exactly their purpose…
Eventually, these “RoboBees” will be deployed on search and rescue missions, or used for military surveillance. Swarms could even pollinate crops and flowers.
Still, picturing thousands of these robotic insects buzzing through the air is a bit haunting, wouldn’t you say?
