We’re not entirely convinced this is the best solution, however.
True, without vision, a gunman wouldn’t be able to target victims accurately. But it also means that innocent bystanders wouldn’t be able to see, either. And the lights and siren would be just as disorienting to them.
Still, anything that can defend against future brutality is certainly worthy of consideration.
