The launch of Halo 4, the latest addition to the mega-popular Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) Xbox 360 video game franchise, certainly didn’t disappoint.
In fact, the game made “entertainment history,” the company says, racking up $220 million in sales during the first 24 hours. That actually “eclipsed the biggest movie launch in history, ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2,’ in terms of U.S. opening day sales,” according to VentureBeat.
