I have recently just found your “site” and enjoy it very much. I am a retired Special operations officer (US ARMY Green Berets) of 31 years and an educated Economist.

The truth has to get out. keep up the good work.

I think people need to understand, in addition to the spending, where the money, in large part, is being spent. And that is union wages, their health care, and their benefits. Charts should be made for each of these costs and be projected out 20 or 30 years to show the real issue of growth of these costs.

Who are you kidding? Union Wages?? Where do you get this “stuff”?? The problem, is that those wages are NO LONGER being paid! That is why people have lost their houses, cars, everything they worked for!

Also, THEY pay for THEIR benefits out of their wages. So, once again, NO THEY aren’t better off!!!

Don’t you read? Corporations that pay those wages are sitting on more cash than any time in history.
On the other hand check out your elected officials retirement plans, health insurance, benefits etc.
Where tax dollars are spent is the deficit. U.S. spending overseas to make leaders of poor nations wealthy . Pork barrel spending, Sooo much wasted spending!
You have to get your own financial house in order before you can support others else you will not survive.
